Why using the helmet?
The helmet must reduce the impact against the head.
The shock coming from heavy impact may cause serious injuries to the head and to the brain.
According to use and based on different impacts, protective helmets must be produced following very strict parameters given by the Certification Authority. Helmets used in building, e.g., must protect the head from heavy weights arriving from the top, while ski and motorcycle helmets must protect from side impacts, too, and from dangers caused by excess speed.
